OUR HORSES IN ACTION

May 25, 2023.  Congratulations Sheila and Shirley Murphy on your fantastic First Place with Raleigh at the Devon Horse Show in the Young Hunter Under Saddle class.  Raleigh is by Razmataz out of MS Gilda FCF.  Shown below is Raleigh with her rider Theresa Tolar:

May 26, 2022.  Congratulation Kate Murphy and Rhythmic for taking second place in the Young Horses Undersaddle class at the Devon Horse show!  Rhythmic is by Razmataz out of our lovely mare MS Damenswunsch.  Sorry no picture.

Razmataz quite often produces over-achievers like Laurens sweet gelding below:

Regardless of who Damenswunsch is bred to, her babies always love to jump.

I wanted to give you an update on my wonderful mare, Repertoire (“Tori”) by Raz. We just competed in the Region 2 Championships, where she was Reserve Champion at First Level AA in a class of 39 and 5th place in Open First Level Freestyle in a class of 26. She was extremely well behaved all weekend. I was so proud of her. We qualified for Finals in both classes, so we will be going to Kentucky in November. Last year we placed 9th in First Level Freestyle AA at Finals in a class of 30, so I’m hoping to place again!

Thank you for breeding such a wonderful horse.

Repertoire is out of our lovely mare Grafengirl, and is a fourth generation Indian Land Farm mare.  Her Great Grandfather was Gueldenstein, the first stallion to stand at ILF, her Grandfather was Grafenburg  and she is by Razmataz our most recent stallion.  Congratulations Karen!  Good luck in Kentucky!

Just wanted to let you know that we took Winston (Raubritter) to Dressage at Camden. He scored over 70% in all 4 classes, bringing home 4 blue ribbons. Not to mention we trailered back and forth both days. I can't even tell you how many people came up to us and complimented how amazing he is, including one of the judges!

This show also gave us enough scores to be ranked for USDF Dressage Horse of the Year. Guess what?? He's currently 11th in the country! I've included pics from his Training 2 where he scored a 75%.

Mr. Lengers,

I had the opportunity to teach Carol xxxxx on the mare Raffia that you bred.

I was very impressed with the mare.   Carol sent me a link to your website

and have been viewing your horses there as well.

I wanted to tell you that I'm very impressed with your horses and how

reasonably priced they are. I'm an instructor in Georgia and do much

traveling to give clinics and will certainly pass on your website to anyone

looking for a young horse.

Thank you for turning out some fine horse flesh,

Sincerely,

Gigi Nutter

Grassias, the 2005 filly by Grafenburg out of Dove/Domingo, shown above, was the Hanoverian Champion at the Ole South breed show in 2007.  In 2008 she competed again and received 2nd place.   Grassias is owned and trained by Katharina Nowotny-Bowles who purchased Grassias as a 2 year old.  Great job Katharina, we are looking forward to hearing about all of your future competitions.  Grassias is a full sister to our broodmare, Gala who is currently pregnant with her first foal.

Congratulations Barb Jarboe, Kathleen Patil and Laura Wectawski who, with their Grafenburg offspring, took reserve champion at the 2008 Kentucky Breeders show in the Get of Sire class.  On the first day of competition they tied for first place and on the second day they came in a close second to the offspring of Royal Prince.  They are shown in the following order, Barb and Gebilde, Laura and Gravitas, and Kathleen and Gardist.

Amber Gabriel recently received her USDF Silver medal at the Prix St. George level at the Del Mar Dressage show in 2007 on Dow Jones.  Dow Jones is by Dominator out of our lovely Thoroughbred mare, Decorated Letters.  Amber has owned Dow Jones since he was a weanling and has done all of his training herself.  She also owns his full brother, Dijon, who is just beginning his show career.

Erin Tursam, shown above with her mare Dedication, the nine year old full sister to Dow Jones and Dijon has been competing in Eventing.  She always places in the top 3 in Dressage and Dedication has never refused a Cross Country fence.  Great job Erin!

Friends of Indian Land Farm, send us a picture and write up of your Indian Land Farm offspring and we would love to proudly post it on our web site.  Thank you, Julie and Hans.
